NEIGHBOURHOOD DEVELOPMENT PLAN SECTION

Summer 2013 consultation

In August and early September 2013, the Group Parish Council consulted local residents on whether they wished to undertake a Neighbourhood Development Plan.

Over 67% of households responded, of whom nearly 95% supported undertaking a Plan.

A short leaflet was delivered personally to every household in the Group Parish by a team of volunteers, who wherever possible spoke to residents to explain the importance of reading the leaflet and responding.  Volunteers called back to collect response slips, which asked residents whether they wanted the Council to start work on a Neighbourhood Plan.
