Planning Committee
About the Planning Committee
The Council has a Planning Committee whose purpose is to examine planning applications within the Parishes and hear arguments from residents for or against applications.
The Council will then submit comments to Herefordshire Council (who determine all applications) which reflect the opinions of residents and the views of the Committee regarding the usefulness and appropriateness of the proposed development. These comments will be considered by Herefordshire as part of the determination process.

Planning Committee Meetings
All members of the public are entitled to attend Planning Committee meetings, which are held as required by the number and timing of planning applications.
If timing allows, the full Council meeting can also discuss and comment on applications, in which case there is no need for the Planning Committee to meet.
