Parish Council elections May 2019
The Parish Council is the lowest tier of local government, and consists of councillors elected from local people. Elections to the Parish Council take place every four years, with councillors elected for that period.
There are six councillors elected by the electors in the parish of Ford & Stoke Prior (which also includes Wickton, Fairmile and west Steen’s Bridge). There are five councillors elected by the electors in the parish of Humber (which also includes Risbury, Marston, and east Steen’s Bridge).
Parish Council elections took place in 2019, organised by the Returning Officer at Herefordshire Council. Nominations closed on 3 April, and the Returning Officer has published notices of Result of Uncontested Election for both parishes, deeming the persons nominated elected:
Contact details for councillors will be published on the ‘Council Info’ page and in the June 2019 Parish Pump following the Council meeting on 15 May 2019.
